mySailing is Apple Watch application created to support my personal hobby which is sailing. It helps me to organise my races, watches during races and grab events which I want to put later to captain’s log. The latest version can be downloaded from App Store. There is no companion app for iPhone yet however it is planned. If you miss events or some functionality is not comfortable to use feel free to share feedback. Also if you want to help with translation to other languages (English and Polish are available now) – you are welcome.
Current features
- Watch is organisation unit in the application. You can capture events which happens during the watch for later review and summary of your trip.
- Default Watch is one which you can set by swiping on list of watches view. It is use later for example by complications to perform actions without needing to choose the watch.
- Settings => Available events – there is option allowing to filter out events which you don’t plan to use.
- Circular complication which you can add to your Apple Watch face to add event to your Default Watch.

Option to add location to default watch from complication- Visible localised alert when capturing location from complication
- Added icons for anchor up and anchor down events
- Port Visited event – you can add name of visited port or place as free text.
Planned changes
- Watch will be replaced by Cruise or Trip and there will be separate events to start/end watch during your trip.
- Summary of Trip – calculates hours sailed and log of the trip.
